Caught Ya #16: lysander politely argues that he was the equal of demetrius and that in fact demetrius first had wooed another fair maiden helena. lysander continued to explain that demetrius after winning helena had jilted her like a oderous cad and than pursued hermia. he abandoned poor helena to her unrequited love

For the first part of class we watched John Adams.  The second part of class was set aside for getting late work turned in.  Remember that all work needs to be in by tomorrow!

Today, time was set aside for students to work on late/missing/revision work.  Since the internet was down during class time, we showed To Kill a Mockingbird.  You can submit a written review of the film to earn some bonus points.  The review needs to be submitted no later than Wednesday the 20th.  Thank you!

Today in class we discussed the symbolism of purple, pink, brown, black and white.  We also looked at shapes like triangles, circles, squares, rectangles, the hourglass, and ovals.  You’ll need this information for our next unit test in January, so be prepared!  You can come get notes from one of us or from a friend.

For the end of class you had time to work on the Christmas Carol project.  Thursday is our dress rehearsal and the show is next week.  Be prepared!

Today in class we continued watching the first episode of John Adams and started the second episode.  We will finish the second episode on Wednesday.  Again, remember: we are watching a slightly edited version of the film.  There are some episodes of the miniseries that may contain material that is not appropriate for you to watch, so please check with your parents before watching any episodes outside of class.  The episodes we watch in class are school appropriate, but not all of the episodes are.  Be a responsible student of media!

The remainder of class time was set aside for work on late assignments.  You have until Thursday to finish all late/missing/revision work for our class.  Please let us know if we can clarify any assignments or material for you.  We are here to help!

Today during class, those who wanted to join came and joined in a discussion on the last four chapters of To Kill a Mockingbird.  The test for this book and the quotes on your theme tracker will  be posted this week and due in the middle of January.

Today in class we started to talk about color theory, which will be on our next unit test all the way in January.  You’ll want to get these notes from us or from a neighbor.  Today we reviewed red, orange, yellow, green, and blue.  You’ll want to know the psychological impact of these colors and how they are used in design to impact audiences of movies and plays.

You also had time in class today to work on getting your Christmas Carol project ready.  We only have three class days until this project is presented!
